I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Lake Mary, Florida and serving Central Florida for 15 years. I specialize in therapy for women and teen girls. Whether it's anxiety, infertility, emotional pain you've endured in your relationships or family, or you're struggling as a wife or mother- these moments can feel overwhelming and isolating. I offer a warm, faith-based space where healing can begin. My approach is holistic and rooted in Biblical truth, caring for the mind, body, and soul. Here you'll find grace, support, and practical tools to find lasting change.
Some of the best counselors are ones that have known pain and done their own healing work.
My personal Experience
My journey into supporting the mental health of women and teen girls began during my own teenage years. At 17, my parents divorced, straining my relationship with my mother. Suddenly, I had to navigate life without her guidance. This loss pushed me to seek healing through counseling. Those years of personal growth served as a catalyst to help other young girls as they pursue their own healing from the many pains and hardships that come in adolescence. It has also shaped my passion for helping mothers and daughters pursue healing in their relationship with one another through parent coaching services and family counseling.
Infertility Diagnosis
My passion for helping women only grew stronger when I personally experienced some health issues. I remember feeling like just another number in the system, struggling to get the answers and support I so desperately needed. After being bounced around from one doctor to another, I received a painful infertility diagnosis that shifted my whole perspective on women's health. That experience inspired me to focus on getting my mind, heart, and body healthy in a holistic way. It’s become my mission to help other women feel seen, heard, and truly supported on their own health journeys.
Holistic Perspective
I knew I wanted to help other women find healing emotionally, physically, and spiritually as well. I believe change and healing isn't a one size fits all approach. So often women are treated only through the lens of a diagnosis, when in actuality there could be so much going on that's contributing to how they're feeling. When you come to see me, I look beyond the diagnosis or what’s on the surface. I want to hear your story, understand the pain you’ve gone through, and about your hopes and dreams. By addressing mental and emotional health from a holistic perspective, bringing in faith and working towards a healthier mind and body, that’s where the real healing and transformation happen.
I understand that seeking therapy is a significant decision, and it's important to know what to expect. In our sessions together, you'll find a blend of warmth, compassion, and genuine understanding. Clients often tell me that our time feels like chatting with a trusted friend- someone who listens without judgment and offers helpful insights and wisdom.
I love helping women find solutions to their problems and take pride in offering practical feedback and actionable steps to bring about change, while always maintaining a compassionate and empathetic approach.
We will also incorporate Evidence Based Practices such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT Therapy), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Narrative Therapy into our work together. For those that want to incorporate their Christian faith into their therapy, I would be happy to do so, and always leave this at the discretion of my clients.
I keep my practice intentionally small to provide each client with individualized care and attention. Together, we'll conduct a thorough assessment of your needs and goals, crafting a personalized treatment plan tailored just for you.
I come from a big, close-knit Italian family, with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all living on the same street growing up. Sundays meant five-course meals by my grandmother, filled with laughter and delicious food. I’m now working on obtaining my Italian dual citizenship and hope to one day retire in Italy.
Traveling brings me so much joy! From ziplining in Costa Rica to seeing the Northern Lights in Norway, trekking the Great Wall of China, climbing Machu Picchu, and watching the sunset in Santorini, some of my best memories come from exploring new places. With over 30 countries visited, Italy remains a favorite - it's always a great idea!
Motherhood didn’t come as I envisioned. After marrying later in life, my husband and I faced infertility and pregnancy loss. Years of testing and treatments eventually led us to adoption and our daughter, Evelyn Faith. Her name, meaning "light and life," reflects the joy and hope she brought us after our journey of loss and faith.
