It’s never been harder to be a teen girl than it is right now.
Between constant pressure, comparison, and expectations, many girls are silently struggling just to keep up, and feeling like they’re falling short.
Many of the girls I work with are dealing with anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, perfectionism, or feeling stuck and unmotivated.
As a parent, it can feel overwhelming and heartbreaking to watch your daughter struggle, especially when you’ve tried everything to help.
That’s where I come in.
I support both you and your daughter, helping her feel understood and giving you tools to better connect with her, so your home can feel more peaceful, supportive, and connected again.
She seems overwhelmed, anxious, withdrawn, or easily frustrated, and it is hard to know what she is really feeling
You notice mood changes, overthinking, or emotional ups and downs that feel bigger than typical teenage behavior
She may be struggling with low self confidence, perfectionism, social anxiety, or pressure from school and friendships
At times, she may express intense emotions, shut down, or engage in behaviors like self harm or avoidance
You feel worried, disconnected, or unsure how to communicate with her in a way that actually helps
Despite your efforts, it can feel like nothing is truly getting through or making a lasting difference
Learn healthy coping skills to manage anxiety, stress, and overwhelming emotions
Build emotional awareness so your teen can better understand and express what she is feeling
Improve communication between your teen and your family so conversations feel more open and productive
Strengthen self confidence and self worth so she can show up more securely in friendships, school, and daily life
Address challenges like self harm, low motivation, perfectionism, and social anxiety with practical, supportive tools that will break the cycle
Process difficult experiences such as family changes, grief, or loss in a safe and supportive space
Support parents with guidance and strategies to better understand, connect with, and support with your teen
You might just have a gut feeling that something is off. Maybe she seems more anxious, withdrawn, overwhelmed, or not quite like herself lately. If her emotions, behavior, or stress are starting to impact daily life, teen counseling can really help her feel supported and give her tools to navigate what she’s going through.
Yes, absolutely. Your daughter will have her own space to open up, but I also support you as a parent. I’ll help you better understand what she’s going through and give you practical tools so you can feel more confident in how to support her at home.
This is very normal. Most teens feel unsure at first. I focus on building trust and creating a space that feels comfortable and not intimidating. Usually by the end of the first session, I find that teen girls are smiling and asking their moms to come back!
I am a private pay practice. This allows our work to stay focused on your daughter, without diagnosis labels or session limits, and gives us more flexibility to go at the pace she actually needs. I keep my caseload intentionally small to give each of my client's more personalized care.
Yes, I do offer Christian counseling for teen girls, but only if that is something your family wants. This might look like talking through struggles from a faith perspective, exploring identity and self worth. This is always optional, and I work with many families who prefer a more traditional approach as well.
